Large Exceptional high victorian English classical tinted parian figure depicting morning, night or spring ca 1860s. The work is extremely fine and is beautifully painted and gilded, it is museum quality. There are no marks but I would say its by Minton or Copeland based purely on the quality of the work. The work depicts a nude with a fairy and a wonderful free flowing blanket. The stars on the inner part of the flowing blanket would suggest the figure is night but it could also be morning or spring. It measures 23"H x 8"D x 6 1/2"W and is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or brakes. I have lots of pictures below this description please take a look. Found in PA.
