eBay
A rare find! A 1997 DBR (Diamondback Racing) V-Link Pro Carbon Fiber full suspension mountain bike with Shimano XT components! This bike always amazes me when I pick it up - she's still lighter than most full suspension bikes around these days, including my friend's FSR Stumpjumper, and this was offered by DBR for only 1 yr -- in 1997. The V-Link line was introduced in 1996 and I also owned a V-Link 1.0, their entry level model. They also had a higher model (the 3.0) and the Pro (offered only in aluminum), however in 1997 the Carbon Fiber model was offered ONLY 1YR. So, this is definitely a collector's item or a mountain bike historian / enthusiast's dream. Its frame is approx 16". THIS BIKE ORIGINALLY SOLD FOR $3,500!!! http://www.geocities.ws/cegrover/DBR.html (see 1997 DBR models) The original Manitou elastomer bumper fork was terrible; I believe it had less than 3" of travel, and it sure felt like it. I updated this fork with an Marzocchi bOMBER which offers a lot more.

Components:  Bontrager Mustang Rims with Street Tires, XT Canti Brakes F&R, White Brothers Cranks, Fox ALPS 4R rear shock, Marzocchi Bomber front shock. You can see the rest in the pics. Bike works awesome.
