Hello! we are offering this wonderful Antique Victorian style lamp ... It does need wired as the original one's cord has been cut. We do not know about lamp history but this one looks very old ... guessing early 1900s. Not sure of the exact metal either because base is painted a cream color, but looks like the feet and finial are solid brass..... the feet have a very unique claw foot design... What is so interesting about this lamp is the holes on the bottom of the base..... This might be a good indicator of age we are guessing... It also has the number 1 embossed in metal...... The lamp measures 16.5 inches from very bottom of feet to the top and the finial is 2 inches. The base measures 6 inches across.... take very good pictures so you can see every part of lamp in great detail (:
