This auction is for a m type lathe, screw-cutting and back-geared. 

Recently restored,it is in very nice condition and ready to give years of service. 

It has 5-inch, 3-jaw chuck and a 4-inch 4-jaw chuck. 

It comes with the full, original set of change gears for metric and imperial threads. 

Technical Spec:

Size: 3.5inch by 18inch between centres (9 inch swing over gap)
Single-phase motor, 3/4 horsepower.
Number 1 morse taper in head and tail stocks.
6-speed (12 including back gear).

Viewing is welcome and due to size of item, it must be collected by the winning bidder.  Cash on collection.  Although delivery within a reasonable distance of Peterborough could be arranged at cost.

Lathe can be unbolted from bench for easier handling.
