Up for absolute no reserve auction is an original Tiffany Studios acorn leaded glass lamp. Shade is signed Tiffany Studios New York 1435 with a long tag. It is in excellent condition. No repairs or replaced glass. I honestly can't find a crack in the lamp. Maybe I am overlooking a small minor crack or something but I've stared at it for quite some time and can't see any. The background unlit is a deep yellow striated with darker mustard streaks. The acorns unlit are green and white. When lit, the shade takes on a different set of colors. The background turns more orange with yellow and brown highlights. The acorns are beautifully mottled with some orange around the dramatic mottles. The gold finish is original and in wonderful condition. Very attractive with this color combination in the shade. The base retains it's original gold dore' finish. It is dirty but excellent also. Signed Tiffany Studios 533. Has 3 turnkey sockets. Original riser and wheel. I can't tell on the cap. Usually telling between original vs fake caps is easy for me. I can't tell on this one. It has some of the etching that you see with original caps but it is not as pronounced as most I've seen. Just assume it is a replacement cap and be happily surprised when you see it.
