Atami Wilma 8 Pot Kit

The Atami Wilma System is an active hydro system offering the precision and control of hydroponic feeding combined with the flexibility of growing in pots. Inspired by the Dutch pot drip irrigation method.

Pots are placed on a support tray that rests on top of a nutrient tank. Inside the tank sits a pump which is connected to each pot via a dripper. The pump is plugged into a timer and this periodically delivers nutrient solution to each plant. The Wilma feeds the plants little and often, which provides the plants with more water and nutrients than if they were hand-watered

When watering once per day you can't give a plant all the water and nutrients it needs for optimum growth because you would waterlog the medium and starve the plant of oxygen.

In a Wilma the plants are provided with water and nutrients little and often, so they are able to take up more water and nutrient and they are never over or underfed or watered, so the Wilma produces bigger yields compared with pots.

Complete Wilma 8 Pot System comes with: tank, tray, pots, pump, delivery system, flood drippers, arrow drippers and full instructions.

When growing in clay pebbles, use the blue flood drippers. For more absorbent media – soil, coco, grow cubes, mapito – use the black arrow drippers.

Supplied with 8x 11 Litre pots.

Please note: you will need a timer to use this system in order for the pump to plug into so you can control feeding times per day We recommend starting with 1-3 feeds per day for 15 minutes and then slowly increasing this as you plants need it. You should not need to provide more than one 15 minute feed per hour.
