Payment Policy

JTVonline utilizes PayPal as the accepted method of payment for all eBay orders. Please note, JTVonline is required by law to collect sales tax for all customers in Tennessee (TN).

Use Tax Notice for Oklahoma, South Dakota and Vermont purchasers. For thosecustomers having packages shipped to Oklahoma, South Dakota or Vermont, the laws of these states require us to give you the following notice:

We are not required to collect and we do not collect Oklahoma, South Dakota or Vermont sales or use tax. Your purchase is subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Each of these states requires that purchasers who have products shipped or transported into the state report all purchases that were not taxed and pay taxes on those purchases. The Oklahoma tax may be reported and paid on the Oklahoma individual income tax return [Form 511] or by filing a consumer use tax return [Form 21-1]. The referenced forms and corresponding instructions are available on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website, www.tax.ok.gov. The Vermont tax may be reported on the Vermont use tax form, which is available on the Vermont Department of Taxes website. Shipping Information

Shipping is FREE on orders under 1.0 pounds within the continental United States. If you wish to have item shipped to another address please add the address during the checkout process. We provide tracking numbers in the eBay shipping notice – see your order details for the tracking number. We usually ship same day or next business day. Weekends and holidays do not count as business days. If you need to inquire about shipping, returns or special requests please contact (800) 550-8393   

International Shipping

• International shipping charges are NON-REFUNDABLE. All items ship from Knoxville, TN, U.S.A.
• JTVonline cannot label your order as a gift or to falsify the value of your order for customs purposes.Important note: international buyers are responsible for payment of any customs, duties, taxes, brokerage / disbursement fees, or tariffs imposed by your country. These fees are not included in your shipping charges. We have no control over these charges and cannot estimate them. Please contact your local customs office to determine your estimated fees.

ExpeditedShipping

If you select one of the expedited shipping methods, your order will be delivered within:

• 1-3 Day shipping: if an order is placed before 2:00 PM ET the package will attempt delivery on or before the third business day from the date ordered. 

Payment issues, inventory location, or fulfillment issues may also extend the delivery period. If you select and pay for one of the expedited shipping methods and unexpected issues prevent timely deliveries, our policy is timely communication with you regarding the delay.

Returns

We at Jewelry Television® want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We will accept returns up to 40 days after the order date (not the receipt date) for items purchased from JTVonline. If you are not completely satisfied, send it back to us in its “as shipped” condition within 40 days of the order date. Refunds will be applied to the original payment method only. ALL RETURNED ITEMS WILL BE CHECKED BY OUR GEMOLOGIST PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF A REFUND.
Note: Jewelry that has been sized or otherwise altered cannot be returned. We follow standard Book, CD and DVD return policies. Books, CDs and DVDs are nonreturnable if the cellophane is opened. Shipping and handling fees are not part of the purchase price and are NON-refundable.

To Return an Item

To return an item you must complete the return form included as part of your invoice.

• Detach the topmost portion of the invoice and keep for your personal records.
• The return form needs to be included in your return package in order to receive proper credit.
• Package your return. If possible, use the original packaging.

If your order is $499 or under and you choose to use the SmartLabel by newgistics (easiest) to return your packaging with please remember

• Remove the SmartLabel from the front of your invoice.
• Put the SmartLabel on the front of your return package. This is your return label.
• The SmartLabel is specific to the order and should not be used to return other merchandise.
• Drop the package off at your convenience at your USPS office, and the return is automatically protected after it is scanned.
• A charge of $6.99 will be deducted from your return credit amount if you choose to use the SmartLabel.

• Take the package to the shipper of your choice.
• For the your protection, merchandise not qualifying for the SmartLabel return or returned on your own must be returned prepaid and should be insured via UPS, FedEx or US Mail.
• Keep the shipping receipt until the merchandise credit appears on your statement
• No items other than the ones listed on the invoice covered by the return label may be included in the return; inclusion of other items may delay or result in no refund for items not listed on the invoice. Any items returned beyond the designated time frames, if accepted, will be subject to a restocking fee.

If you misplace your order invoice and SmartLabel please contact the customer care number at (800-550-8393). If you requested an exchange for an item please allow 10-14 business days for us to complete a reshipment.

Risk of Loss.The risk of loss and title for all products purchased by you and shipped by JTV pass to you upon JTV's delivery to the carrier for delivery by the carrier to your specified delivery address. Notwithstanding the agreement that risk of loss for any package passes to you upon delivery to the carrier, to accommodate our customers, JTV will assume responsibility for any damage or loss in transit or for non-delivery, provided that JTV receives a written notice of claim within the earlier to occur of (i) forty-five (45) days from the order date, (ii) thirty (30) days from the shipment day, or (iii) twenty (20) days from the date when the shipment was delivered to your specified delivery address. JTV’s assumption of responsibility for damage or loss in transit or for non-delivery terminates if a written claim is not timely received by JTV. In any event, JTV’s responsibility is limited to either replacement of the merchandise or at JTV’s sole option, return of the purchase price and shipping charges. Once the package is delivered to your specified delivery address, JTV’s assumption of responsibility for non-delivery terminates. Any package signed for at your specified delivery address or delivery at your specified delivery address is verified in writing by the carrier shall be conclusively deemed delivered to your specified delivery address

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability as to Products and Services.Jtv wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchases, if for any reason you are not entirely pleased with a product you purchased from jtv simply return it as specified in jtv’s return policy. After expiration of the return period, jtv makes no warranties, express or implied and jtv disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the full extent permissible by applicable law, including but not limited to express or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any warranties that may cover the products sold may be provided by the applicable manufacturers. Accordingly, except as specified above, jtv makes no representation or warranty with respect to any product or service sold.

Under no circumstances shall jtv, its suppliers or their respective directors, officers, employees or agents be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental special, or punitive damages, lost profits and business interruption whether in contract or in tort.

Disputes.  The sole venue for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or in any way related to JTV’s sale of product or services shall be in a court of record in Knox County, Tennessee, and shall be decided in accordance with the law of the State of Tennessee.

Clarity Grade

Typically, clarity grades are meant to categorize diamonds, while colored gemstones use various other methods to evaluate their quality. Unlike diamonds, there is no universally accepted clarity rating system for colored gemstones. So, one person's VVS1 rating can be another's SI2.
