Our new High Powered 36dBi Directional Panel is the answer to picking up those WiFi signals whilst out in your motorhome or caravan. This panel mounts to your vehicle or caravan by the included suction bracket. There is enough range in the movement to allow the unit to be mounted on the inside of a window facing outwards should you so wish. 

This antenna uses the Ralink 3070 chipset and is connected to a 36dB directional panel with a horizontal 60 degree beam for easy adjustment and alignment. The antenna must be used with a computer with USB connections. It is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7 and 8 with all versions of Mac OS.

The unit is directional  so you do need to spend a little bit of time rotating the antenna through 360 degrees if you do not know the direction or location of the network. The Directional Panel is capable of distances of 2.0km with line of sight in ideal conditions.

You can also download a copy of inSSIDer for use with the antenna which turns your computer into a satellite finder, giving you a detailed readout of the signal strength and quality to locate nearby hotspots. Full written instructions on using this software is provided with the antenna and it can be downloaded.
