1949 First edition, George Allen and Unwin. One of the nicest condition copies I've handled. The dust jacket is bright as new, two small pieces of archival tape on the reverse jacket ends which has kept them free from any tattering. A personal and tasteful bookplate to the inside front cover is the only flaw to the book.
