"This is yet another fabulous product by American Girl. It is made of hard and durable plastic. It has rounded edges and I would say is perfect for any girl 2+ as there are no small pieces. It had to be assembled but that was easy too...just a few screws. My girls use it as an (American Girl Doll Bed), too.
