The Price of Everything is rapidly approaching its 100th performance, and in keeping with the spirit of the show, that 100th performance is for sale by auction. The 100th performance must take place in the second half of January 2014. Otherwise you'd inadvertently be buying either the 99th or the 101st. You can give it as a Christmas present, but do check your intended recipient will be free that day. Venues usually pay around £550 for a performance of the show. The starting price on this auction is 99p. Just saying. The available dates for the show are as follows: Wednesday 15th January Thursday 16th January Friday 17th January Saturday 18th January Sunday 19th January Wednesday 22nd January Thursday 23rd January Friday 24th January Saturday 25th January Sunday 26th January Thursday 30th January Friday 31st January Also, what the hell: Saturday 1st February Sunday 2nd February You can buy the 100th performance for any venue in mainland UK. You can buy it for further afield too, but in that case travel and accommodation will be extra. It can take place at any hour of the day or night. Whatever suits your venue and your audience. We'll interpret "venue" quite loosely. It can be your theatre space, or your living room. It can be the upstairs room of your pub or it can be your woodshed. Just so long as you have permission to put a show on there, anywhere goes. As it's January, though, let's just stipulate that it has to take place indoors. The show can be for an audience of one or for an audience far larger. You can sell tickets if you want, although it might be nicer if you didn't. Or at the very least, if you made it pay-what-you-can. Above costs, all money made by the performance will be donated to charitable causes. Do get in touch if you have any queries. |
