Very Gothic mid calf black 100% cotton velvet dress with inset panel of lace to back with ribbon laces and a large satin bow to waist
Back lace panel goes in a V to the waist
Plain front with small V notch to neck
Extremely full skirt about 215 inches around the bottom
Side zip
2 satin covered buttons to each cuff
Lined Bodice
Was bought a s a slight second back around 1985/6 but I was never able to find any faults with it
Very Good Condition as not worn a great deal; maybe slightly dusty ( in the way velvet gets) from being in the wardrobe so long
Vintage 'Laura Ashley Made in Great Britain' label
Marked as a size 16 but please check the measurements.
Bust flat measurement is 19 1/2 inches and similarly the waist is 16 inches so possibly 14/16
Length is 49 inches
