This is a survivor of  the post war Thomas bus in North Carolina which was halted during the War to make other things for the troops. The bus is made in part of aluminum to lighten the GVW and was short to use in the Mountains of North Carolina on the winding roads for the turn radius. There is a two speed splicer on the shift leaver next to the hand break to help navigate the grades on the hills. The motor is original with a new head gasket when I purchased it back in the late 80's.There is an old title on the bus signed over and it will be sold as parts because of the age and condition needing to be restored will need a custom title. The bus is missing a bud wheel in the rear and does not have any seats. The front clip needs metal patch and so does the back door and surround. What is very solid is the center section including the roof and floors. So if you are interested in picking up a project bus you can buy it now in this listing and I will expect a $1000.00 deposit within 24hrs from end of auction and picked up 10 days there after.Thank you for your consideration and if you have any questions you may e-mail me.
