Timmy's Michael Jackson Inspired Memory Jacket

BBC TWO's The Great British Sewing Bee is a crafty competition for amateur sewers, which sees contestants pleat and stitch their way to be crowned Britain's best home sewer. In the BBC Children in Need three part special, 12 celebrities competed to make the best handmade dresses, skirts, onesies, capes and much more - all of which are being auctioned off to raise money.

Lead singer with The Overtones, Irish-born Timmy Matley has been performing since the age of 14 and has three top-ten albums under his belt. Along with bandmates Mark, Lachie, Mike and Darren, Timmy was discovered by a talent scout while painting and decorating a shop near Oxford Street in London. The fivesome were singing 'The Longest Time' on their tea break and their silky 1950s do-wop harmonies earned them a five album deal with Warner Brothers.

Inspired by Michael Jackson's leather jacket in the famous 'Thriller' video. Red synthetic leather, trimmed with black diagonal striped braid. Single button fastening.

Our child models were all in usual clothing sizes for ages 8-10. Timmy is 4’5.

“A smashing looking little jacket.” Judge May Martin
