"Our Man Bashir" —A classic fan favorite of DS9!.

So THIS PIECE is an original, in-house studio FINAL DRAFT script with the final CHANGE PAGES—the blue and pink set, the color pages issued just before and during a shoot. These changes are meant to replace the original white and subsequent pages, so that a script in process has a "rainbow" effect. There are 10 colors in the cycle, and if needed the cycle is repeated in order—though few scripts , and certainly the first drafts, ever go through the full cycle. That track of changes is kept on the title page, which tops each stapled batch as needed (see photo)--and the dial archived script retains that color/date record as a "final final" script.

What's more—this is technically a "rainbow" script, in MINT CONDITION —and it's not COLLATED. So, as an original and early-version copy from the in-house limited distribution run, this is still a great peek at the first phase of this episode, before the Final Draft and its shoot pages—and is VERY rare.

Suffice to say: This copy is NOT an old Lincoln/Roddenberry reprint (see below) nor a cheesy Ebay junker badly photocopied a zillion times from a master.

The piece is straight from the Paramount Print Shop, was part of a draft-phase run of under 50, and is hole-punched and brad-bound… right off the shelf from the longtime Star Trek writing HQ, Paramount's Hart Building.

This version, long unlikely to be findable anywhere by collectors, has been in my research library since 1997. This script features the original aging paper with dinged corners, and even the dull-brass fastener brads.
