Super Rare Hillwood RB-1 Keytar / Synth

This auction is for an oiginal 1970s keytar. One of the first keytars, the Hillwood RB1 was made at the tail end of the 1970s / early 80s. This is one of the early models and has been well gigged as you can see.

I have to sell this beauty as untested because although i bought to restore i simply dont have time with other projects so its gathering dust.

Ive tried to take as many photos as possible to highlight the condition. There are chips and marks to each side and the rear. All keys move freely and still have a good return. None are stuck. The dials and toggle switch are all free moving and work as they should. The metal casing has a couple of dings here and there but nothing major. Considering its age i would describe as "well gigged".

Finding infomation on these very early synths is hard so this would suit somebody who knows what they are doing.

These early original keytars are so rare there has been none on ebay and very few online references!

The keytar will be securely wrapped with lots of bubblewrap and cardboard and sent via recorded courier.
