Visionary clay animator Bruce Bickford's CAS'L' DVD release was September 1st, 2015 - and this eBay auction is the exclusive platform of 100 individually signed and numbered editions!

CAS'L' was shot on 16mm film over a 20 year span, and is Bruce's longest independent release at 48 minutes. CAS'L' transcends technique as clay becomes imagination incarnate; the viewer is integrated into the energy and is continuously fascinated by the detail, enchanted by the set designs, and mouth left agape at the fluidity of the transformations, every viewer - every time. Endlessly re-watchable, there is always something new to see... and 100% CGI-free! Original soundtrack with motion-specific sound effects from Listen2Daze, the DVD is loaded with 9 Special Features including a full audio commentary, 2 line animation shorts in razor-sharp resolution (including Easter Egg...), a candid Disclaimer, Bruce live on stage performing a "CAS'L' Rap" with Project/Object, and more behind-the-scenes footage. A stunning 2-sided triple-panel insert of Bruce's artwork is included in the DVD case. Bruce's signature and individual copy numbers are on the front covers.

Bruce worked for Frank Zappa from 1974-1981 and his animation featured in several releases: A Token of His Extreme, The Dub Room Special, Baby Snakes, Video From Hell, and penultimate Zappa/London Symphony Orchestra tour-de-force The Amazing Mr. Bickford (still frustratingly only released on VHS in 1990). Bruce's first independent clay animation film Prometheus' Garden (1988, 28min) was released on DVD in 2008 (1000 copies) and is already a much sought after collector's item. In 2004, a documentary of Bruce called Monster Road was released by director Brett Ingram, winning several awards at festivals and was a Sundance Channel favorite for years. An absolute must-see!

September 1, 2015: the long-awaited release of CAS'L' - - - 48 minutes of PURE CLAYHEM!
