The rear of the unit has been modified to take the jack plug which allows the addition of a 3rd bolt at the front. This then allows adjustment of the housing to get a centralised picture and increases the stability still further. The unit comes in 2 sizes to suit both of the most popular cameras used. The KPC E700 with a cut out of 30 mm X 30 mm and the Sony Effio 700 TVL type with a cut out of 36 mm X 36 mm. The unit is supplied with 2 sets of clamps sized to suit your scopes, 1 set of 2 clamps fits one scope and you get 2 sets for 2 different scope sizes. To understand what clamp sizes you require you will need to measure the diameter of the scopes main tube at the eyepiece end ignoring the rubber adjustment ring.
The unit is made from (PLA) 3D printed plastic which is very strong and has reinforced brass threads inserted to prevent cross threads and ensure the unit is robust. If the clamp sizes are correct they will easily hold firm even on heavy recoiling rifles.
The unit is supplied with a 4 pole jack socket which if configured correctly can be used to develop a single cable system. A wiring schematic is shown on the technical page of the web shop.
The unit is set for the correct eye relief for most common scopes you will simply need to focus your cope using the ocular adjustment ring so that the cross hairs are nice and sharp. This unit as standard will not suit very short eye relief scopes like the MTC Viper Connect but again it can be modified upon request to do so.
