Up for sale here is a Mesa Boogie MKIV (B) wide body combo with flight case.

If you're looking you probably know something about the MKIV. Fabulous sounding 3 channel amp for all styles from country to metal. Can get very loud and cuts through a band mix like a knife. One of the few amps I've owned that produces an almost 3 dimensional lead sound. This one is the later B model manufactured around 2006 and is in good condition. There are a few minor scuffs in the tolex on the bottom of the amp but nothing major. I have just re-valved the amp with a complete set of Tesla valves (£163). Included is a high quality flight case which came in at around £200 and a new pair of EL34 valves that can be run in the 2 outer valve sockets for a more 'Marshalesque' tone.

The reverb stopped working a while back and I haven't had the time to get it looked at. In my opinion the one average thing on the MKIV is the reverb so if you like reverb you'd be much better off running a quality unit through the excellent effects loop. If you wanted to get it repaired I don't think it would be expensive and this is reflected in the asking price. One of the small clips on the footswitch is missing. Everything else works as it should and the amp sounds fantastic. You are welcome to try before you buy.
