This was a short-lived revamp of Warwick’s Altus bass and actually the FNA stands for ‘Formally Known as Altus’, albeit with a slight spelling mistake!

It was the first Warwick bass to make use of a Music Man styled MEC humbucking pickup and it worked extremely well. The lack of scratchplate allows this beautiful Honey Violin finish and the gold hardware to positively glow with sophistication.

The bass features the Seymour Duncan STC-3M4 preamp and a MM style pickup. You get MM tones from the preamp by using the 3 band EQ and if you activate the “slap contour” switch by pulling on the volume knob, it boosts lows and highs and cuts mids giving a nice, round, P-type tone which is great for slapping or just a rounder tone like a P bass. This is very cool feature in general and is also a great set up for a quick tonal adjustment on the fly. The preamp also has trim bots inside to adjust the range for the treble and bass boost so you can really fine tune your sound!

The distinctive Warwick multi adjustable bridge and separate tailpiece are set below the body surface for a minimalistic presentation and the walnut veneer beneath the maple top gives a ‘coach line’ effect on the body.

The sound, although similar to an Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay, still retains that distinctive Warwick quality and feel. It's a beautiful bass, light in weight and with a great range of sounds.

Conditions is like you can see on the photos. Few dings here and there due to the age but if you take to consideration that beauty has thousands of gigs on her account the condition is really good. Plays really great and sounds fantastic.

I'll add hard case and Warwick strap on top of that.

I'm more than happy to demonstrate. Thanks for looking.
