The days of leaking / breaking / cracking thermostat housings are over! The OEM plastic housing is molded too thin in many areas leading to premature failure, and over time becomes brittle with repeated exposure to high heat. The Sólido Frio is cast from far more stable and strong aluminum! These housings also can be polished, powder coated or welded too.

Designed for engines that use a cylinder head temp sensor, though this housing dose have a 3/8" NPT port for a housing mounted sensor, it does not include one. Has additional 1/8" NPT port for aftermarket coolant temp sensor, and an aluminum hex plugs for both if you arent using them now. Supplied with all stainless steel socket head cap screw mounting hardware, SuperStat thermostat, thermostat seal and Head flange O Ring.

To receive credit, you must return the item within 30 days of receipt. We will not however accept anything without prior approval and an RMA number. Please CALL to gain approval. We don't accept products that are used, installed or otherwise less than brand new, and aren't in their original unmolested packaging.

If you feel your order was shipped in error, please check the part number on the box received against the part number you ordered. Returns must be shipped to us prepaid and credit will be minus the original freight costs. If you've ordered the wrong part, we must impose a 10% restocking charge. Credit will be issued against the purchase of the correct part minus a re stocking charge. Dinged, scratched or otherwise molested merchandise may be rejected for credit at our discretion. Shipping:

UPS provides exceptionally good domestic service. The price is fair, the service fast and it offers detailed tracking the whole way.

USPS priority mail is good for lightweight packages and offers low cost and typically fast service and a delivery confirmation. Be aware that the times that they give are ESTIMATED, not guaranteed like UPS. If you need an item by a certain day, USE UPS. We can also offer faster next day services. Please call for a quote. Be aware that USPS Parcel Post offers NO tracking and often is quite slow.

USPS service is also the best for any international shipments as costs are low and customs is often painless. Whenever you have us ship with a tracking numbered service, we will email it to you.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico (non lower 48 US destinations):

We'd love to offer you quicker service, but the reality is shipping to your destination is usually delayed an additional few days. We combine shipping. If you want to buy multiples of one item, simply go to the calculator in the auction and enter your desired quantity. If your looking to order several different items, simply bid on all the items and checkout only AFTER you have bid on all your desired items. Our Shipping Department is staffed during normal business hours (8:00AM...5:00PM), 5 days a week. Your order can only be shipped while our shipping department is active. Orders placed during the weekend will not be processed 'til Monday. Orders placed in the evening will not be processed 'til the next morning. Our normal UPS and USPS pickup services are also limited to this schedule.
