If your laptop computer only has a missing key, there is no need to buy a keyboard and disassemble your laptop to replace it. This auction is for individual key and a repair solution. You can buy a key and fix the keyboard by yourself.  

Please aware this item is NOT for a keyboard and it's NOT for all keys either. And please be sure to read the item description before purchase. It's impossible to order a right key if you don't read. Thank you for your attention!
 

One key kit includes the following parts:

1) One key cap

2) One retainer clip
(The part under a key cap. It's also known as hinge, scissor, bracket, support mechanism)

3) One rubber (optional)
(It's the round rubber/spring under the key cap. It's an optional part. Please ask if you do need one)

4) Graphic installation guide
( Step by Step diagrams help you put a key back on the keyboard. It will be sent to your Paypal Email with shipping notice.

Step 1 -  Confirm the Model

The key listed on this auction is for the following laptop models:

Step 2 -  Find a Matched Key Type

 - This is the most important step. Please do NOT skip!

* The keyboards for one model may have more than one different structures under their key caps.  We list the key types based on our findings and may NOT have all available key types. It's required to do a comparison and find a matched type before purchase. 

1) If the retainer clip is missing on the keyboard, compare the pictures in the 1st row (base, no clip).
2) If the retainer clip is still in place, compare the pictures on the 2nd row (Retainer clip).

Step 3 -  Check the Availability

 "Unavailable key caps" column shows the key caps that are not currently in stock. 

If the key cap you need is not available and you only need its retainer clip, we can still provide it from another key with the same clip. 

Step 4 -  Verify the Layout of Keyboard

 

The key will be removed from US layout keyboards as shown in the above picture. The keys fit the keyboards with different layouts. However, if you have a keyboard with a different version, please aware:

1) The marks on the key caps may be different.
2) If the shape of Enter key or Length of Left Shift key is different from shown in the picture, they won't fit.

Step 5 -  Review the Price and Shipping information

* The "Buy It Now" price is for 1 key kit.  If you need 3 keys or more, contact us with order information for discount before purchase.

* If you still have a good key cap and only need retainer clips, you can choose to take 2 clips without a key cap. The price for 2 clips is the same as 1 key kit. The 2 clips are not necessary for the same key. If you would like to take this option, please clearly indicate.  

* Shipping and Handling for any additional keys is free.

* Item will be shipped by Canada Post Air Mail on the next business day. Shipping notice and an installation guide will be sent to your PAYPAL Email address.  Please click HERE for shipping information before you make a purchase decision. 

Step 6 -  Place an order and Send Order Information

Enter the number of keys you need in the "Quantity" box, and click on "Buy It Now". On the next page, click on "Add message"  and leave the following order information before you click on "Save message".  If you can't find  "Add message"  or miss the step when you check out,  please simply send order information  by "Ask a question" right after you finish the payment process.
