These are custom reproduction insulators / spacers that go between the 4-barrel carb and intake manifold. These are direct replacements for the original ones.
The problem is the orginals to deteriorate over time and develop cracks which can lead to leaks, hard-to-diagnose running issues, or even material going into the engine.
