Q: What is it used for?
A: These LCD controller kits are used to turn a bare LCD Panel component into an active monitor, provided that your LCD panel is in good condition.

Q: What else do I need to mount a LCD panel into an active monitor?

A: Things needed as follows: LCD controller kit, power adapter, VGA cable/ DVI cable.You could get these items in our store.

Q: Can I use a controller kit for several different LCDs?

A: These boards are matched against one very specific LCD Panel and typically cannot be re-used for another panel – unless its specifications are exactly the same.If you are interested, a programmer could help your project on different LCDs, to change the firmware by yourself. Q: How do I process an order?

Step 1: please advise your LCD panel model no.

If your model no. is in the list, you could simply bid items and advise the model no. you’d like to use it for;
If your model no. is not in the list, please advise your model no. and then wait for our reply. Please don’t bid items before our reply. Because, for some models, we might don’t have suitable parts for it.
Our controller kits are for LVDS/TTL interface, CCFL backlight type. Please note these below types we couldn’t help at the moment: Panels with LED backlight; TMDS interface.

Step 2: bid items.

Step 3: advise shipping service. If you need express shipping rather than CHINA POST shipping, please do advise and wait for our invoice for payment. We shall check rates for you.

Step 4: pay according to invoice.

Q: What’s LCD panel model no.?

A: The panel model no. can usually be found written on a sticker on the back of the LCD panel, and “SAMSUNG LTN150XF-L01” is an example.

（disassemble it from its plastic shell and find the sticker）

Q: Which controller kit shall I turn to?For panels with resolution not more than 1440*900, you may choose our controller boards freely that best meet your needs:

A. With VGA port only: R.RM3251/R.RM3451

B. With VGA and DVI port: R.RM5251/R.RM5451

C. With VGA and DVI port and also support audio input: R.RM5251(audio)/R.RM5451(audio)

D. With VGA port and support TV function: R.RT6251

For panels with resolution more than 1440*900 but not more than 1920*1200, you'd better refer to:R.RM3451/R.RM5451/R.RM5451(audio)

Q: Is any solder thing needed if I buy this kit?

A: No. It is Plug_and_play.

This LCD Controller board has a VGA port and a DVI port. It can support LCD displays with a LVDS interface. The max resolution that it can support is 1920x1200. If you have a LCD with a resolution lower than 1440x900, please refer to our R.RM5251 LCD controller board. If you'd like to order a LCD controller board with only a VGA port, please turn to our R.RM3251C and R.RM3451 LCD controller board. If you want to turn your LCD into a TV, please refer to our R.RT6251 LCD controller board.

This controller board kit is used for LCD panel with a size lower than 19". If you want to bid on this item, please tell us the Display Model of your LCD, then we will check if it is compatible with your LCD. Note: We promise to input the corresponding program into the controller board for you and try our best to select the right LVDS cable and inverter for you. But because we don't have an exact LCD as yours at hand, sometimes we can just test the controller using our own LCD to see if it works. For yours, you have to test it yourself to see if it works well in your LCD. As we all know, there are too many LCDs with many varieties in the market; though our controller boards are compatible, sometimes we can't promise the exact compatibility. Please think about it before bidding! Nevertheless, we've got many positive feedbacks from our customers who bought the LCD controller boards from us. Just take a try, you'll get surprise!

How the controller board is connected in LCD? Have a look at this:

Step 1: take away the old LVDS cable and old inverter from the LCD panel.

Step 2: connect our LVDS cable and inverter connector to the LVDS interface and backlight connector on your LCD panel.

Step 3: connect VGA cable/DVI cable to controller board and PC.

Step 4: input power of 12V,4A.

u      Non-receive order——If you didn’t receive your order after 45 business days, please contact us with your order number and eBay ID presented, we will try our best to help you solve the problem.

Note: 1. We only ship to the confirmed address provided by PayPal. So before you pay, please make sure that your address in PayPal matches the address you would like us to ship to.

2. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
