DEBRA JOYCE (STADUM) - Self Titled Album Released In 1977

This album was recorded in Bloomington, Minnesota (A few blocks from where I grew up), On FLY BY NITE RECORDS  JS-2.

The Vinyl appears NM- (a few very faint hairlines/scuffs).

I played this record before I cleaned it and there was a little background noise during parts of the record.

The cover would be NM- as well but there is a 2cm "indentation" on the back cover (above the signature) which almost goes through to the inside of the back cover. The shrinkwrap was peeled back so that Debra could sign the back cover but it still covers much of the album. One of the corners has a little bit of a bend in it.

The inscription on the back cover ends with; Debra's signature, a phone number (Which probably was hers at the time, but no longer -- so don't be a dope and try to call the number), and the enigmatically placed word "Password".

Some of the songs on this album are more folksy and some are more jazzy, but they are all good.

Five of the songs were written by Debra Joyce. These are: I'm Not The Girl, Jane You Will Always Be There, Sneakin' A Peek, Give Me Rain and Fond Memories. The other three songs (Laziest Gal In Town, Sugar In My Bowl and Ain't No Mountain) are covers.

I personally think the three cover songs are Awesome. They are faithful to the intent of the songwriters, but they are distintively hers. And they sound really, really good!

There are two other copies of this album on ebay right now, both of which are $240.00 or more. I will start mine at a more reasonable $140.00.
