Antique Chinese Ox Bone Mah Jong Majong Set In Ornate Copper Trimmed Wood Box

Outstanding antique Chinese Mah Jong set in an ornate five drawer wood box. The box is decorated with fancy scrollwork and the corners are trimmed in copper or brass. The front door lifts up and on it are Chinese characters. It also has a brass carrying handle. it is made of a light wood that has been stained and painted with gold colored highlights. The first four drawers are filled with tiles and the tiles appear to be made from bamboo or some sort of wood. The betting sticks in the bottom drawer are made of ox bone and are hand drilled and painted. This is a very old set and I'm not sure that is was made for export since there are no export markings. It measures 9 1/2" wide 6 1/2" high x 6 1/4" deep.
