Vintage Large American Buffalo - Bison Hide, Robe or Rug from Montana

This is a large hide. The photos are taken across a queen sized bed.

His/her dimensions are about 96” x 70” not including his 22” tail.

This is a vintage hide and has been left in vintage condition.

It could use a good cleaning.

There are some holes that you can see in the photos. They are not from age, but intentional or from the tanning process.

It is in good vintage condition. The hair is intact and the leather is soft and suede texture. Some of his/her hair is thick and long and some is thin and short. I've tried to take enough photos to show you the entire hide.

This hide will be shipped in a large box and will need to be shipped by UPS.  The dimensions are too large for the USPS.

We live in Northwest Montana and very near the Blackfoot and Salish Kootenai Indians.  This may be an old Indian bison robe, but I really don't know the history behind it.

Some feel that buffalo medicine is standing your ground, protection, abundance and prosperity.

It is about manifestation through prayer and action.

You are welcome to figure the cost of shipping yourself as well. We're in Kalispell, Montana (MT) and our zip code is 59901. The package for this item will be about 40” x 18” x 18” and weighs approximately 25 pounds after being packaged. We only charge actual shipping costs. We are not near any major cities here in NW Montana and sometimes shipping costs are higher than expected, especially for international shipping. I am sorry for this. We have no control over shipping charges. I wish we could ship to you for less!
