This is a Zenith VP2000 CED video disc player that I bought new years ago.I used it for about 2 years and replaced it with a more sophisticated model. It has been stored in a closet for 30+ years. I took it out and plugged it in and let it set for a few minutes. I played two CED movies and it seems to work.I did come in to check on the progress and found the 2nd movie locked up. I slapped the side of the player and it started playing. It played the 1st movie with no problems I did catch the 2nd movie locked up twice, a slap got it going. I don't know if this was the player or the movie. It acted like a faulty DVD would. There are some cosmetic issues on the player. There are a few minor scuffs on the wood grain and the back of the player does have a few noticeable scuffs on the brown part Overall this seems to be a working player. I would recommend having the player serviced due to its age. If you have a collection of CED movies this may be a reliable way to view them
