1969 Benz 220 D Sedan, this Very COOL RIDE was at a garage sale in a barn that was taken out by the heavy snow last year.
It is all original with some minor touch-ups on the paint. The ivory interior is in fair shape but needs detailing and radio is missing. The windshield is cracked as is the dash pad both are online @ $199.00 for the windshield and $99.00 for the dash pad. Also includes the spare tire, jack, manuals and tool kit! I Sanitized the inside of the car and trunk. Then flushed the fuel tank and filter then changed the oil and filter. It took some work to get the fuel system primed again but I got it running and driving. This car has 3 areas of rust on two spots on the floor pans and one in the trunk. They are all flat areas so not too hard to fix at all, but if you can't do it your self it should not cost too much to have it done. The tires hold air but are dried out of coarse. I put a good battery out of a Porsche in this car, it fits but it's a little shorter then the battery box. THIS CAR IS NOT STARTING THE STARTER IS LOADING UP LIKE A DEAD SHORT OR BAD WIRE ????? |
