In light of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, a reminder that all proceeds go to benefit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation. A meaningful story for every generation. “A Journey with Purpose” Synopsis Martin Becker survived four terrible years as a child prisoner in Auschwitz-Birkenau and then, in his 80's, returned to the death camp for the first time since his imprisonment. He traveled there with his only daughter, Gail, and his two grandchildren: Joshua, who was age nine, the same age as Becker when he was taken into the concentration camp. Together, they went on this journey to understand their tragic past and to pass the life lessons on to future generations. The film, narrated by young Joshua, serves as a tangible way for people of all ages to convey the importance of using the past in order to protect against hatred and injustice in the future.
