THE DIAL: 98% mint, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and in bright condition with a few very tiny edge chips, and one faint hairline. The dial with gold spade hands. Diameter is 46 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with gilt plates and a Bosely regulator, and blue steel screws. An uncut three arm 9k gold balance, with hairspring and club tooth English lever escapement. The movement overall of very good quality and jewelled to the balance and escape wheel. The watch ticking away on my desk as I type this, and keeping very good time for a 120 year old watch. The watch with number 4251 and original gilt dust cover. The watch comes with a winding key for winding and hands set and runs the full length of the fusee chain. The watch fully signed R. Wright & Sons of Coventry and 14/0 for 14 ligne size.
THE CASE: 100% mint, the solid silver half-hunter case measures an impressive 44 mm. The front and rear covers are excellent, both are hinged and close nice and tightly. The case with London hall-marks and silver sterling marks and case number 42510. The case sponsor mark of PV. The case with crisp shield and garter to rear cover. The inner dust cuvette with engraving around the winding hole.
