1968 Porsche 912

This 912 is recently out of long term ownership. The previous owner was an elderly gentleman who recently passed. As such, this 912 has not seen much road use in the last several years. It's a wonderful garage find that could be sorted out to a driver level or an amazing restoration candidate considering it's a rare 5 speed with an amazing original paint code of Bahama Yellow.

This 912 is highlighted by the following:

Desirable and Rare 5 Speed Transmission

Engine Number in Range for 1968 912
I had my mechanic clean the Weber Carbs and get the 912 running. Compression is good.
Mechanically, you'll have to go through the 912 to make it road worthy.

Striking Original Paint Code of 6805 Bahama Yellow
Current Maroon Red Paint Presents Excellent for a Driver Level

The body is nice for a driver. Fiberglass was applied to the top of the floors at some point but the underside is a fairly solid metal floor pan. There is some rust in the front pan.
Overall, the car can be driven for the time being with some patching but the end goal should be to address the undercarriage.

Overall, this is an excellent 912 as it is a 5 Speed with a desirable and iconic original paint code, Bahama Yellow.
You can tidy this 912 up as a driver or restore it to concours level.  Either way, this 912 is a solid investment in a strong and ever appreciating air-cooled Porsche market.
