Sculpture by the Master Sculpture Auguste Moreau French 1834-1917

 This is an amazing Spelter is painted Bronze Sculpture by the famous Auguste Moreau, it may be translated as The Harvest.

The piece is very detailed it depicts a lovely maiden standing with a flowing gown off her shoulder her hair is pulled up and she is barefoot with a soft smile.

She is holding corn in one hand and a clever or sickle in the other this statue has great patina. It has a gold plaque on the front base with La Moisson Par Aug. Moreau and a plate with Paris. This bronze statue is an incredible collectible for those who appreciate the fine art of Master sculpture Auguste Moreau.

Condition: Good for the age, missing part of the hand 1" x 1/2" wide few tiny imperfections on the feet that add to the patina.

 Measurements: 12” Tall x 4 ¾” Wide x 4” Base
