eBay
Dear Bidders!

I am selling my BAUR TC BMW 316i. The vehicle is a real beauty and drives very well, the engine sounds great. I have owned the vehicle for 4 years and the car has been used as a weekend toy, stored in the garage and driven about 4 times a summer.
Since owning the vehicle, I have put a brand new bluetooth stereo system in the car, a brand new battery, new shocks and new tyres all around. The vehicle has a genuine spare. I've also had the vehicle serviced once by my local BMW dealer.

The very low mileage is completely genuine, I have had it inspected by BMW and a BMW specialist who have both confirmed this.

The car is in very good condition, but the body work does have a couple of minor scratches around the wheel arches and on the bumpers, but these could be easily corrected. The vehicle has a small rust area, as shown in the pics and very slight bumping of rust coming through in small areas around one wheel arch. The car has all genuine wheels which have been referred. One wheel could do with another refurb as it was my spare, but is now on the car, however the current spare is in great condition having been referred. The spare is genuine also and the same as the other 4x wheels.

The roof is nearly new and is in perfect condition.

I have researched this vehicle a lot and am aware that the car is extremely rare, the BAUR TC roof makes the car a collectors item and there was only a limited number built, meaning its a great investment. Therefore this car is the perfect modern (not so modern anymore) classic.
All of the electrics in the car are in good working order, the electric windows work as they should, along with the electric radio ariel and everything else.

This really is a fantastic motor and whoever gets it will be very lucky.

The bits that need correcting:
The passenger door is permanently locked, but can be opened using a technique. I've been assured this is a quick fix, but haven't took the door cards off and investigated myself.
The front wheels need to be aligned.
When changing down at speed from third to second their is a slight crunch. The synchro may be about to go, this doesn't affect driving at all and all other gear changes up and down are perfect.
The gear knob is a little loose.
The drivers seat upholstery has a hole in the middle.
The rear seats are fine apart from a hole in the middle the size of a 5p piece.

This car is a few minor tweaks away from being a excellent example, but is more than acceptable as is and would make a great garage classic or an every day vehicle, as it is the most reliable car I've ever owned. The only reason I am selling the car, is because I have replaced it with a new motorbike and another classic car - I just don't have the garage space.

The car doesn't currently have an MOT, on the last MOT the only advisories were the tyres which I have replaced.

Please no time wasters and no silly bids - I am more than aware what this vehicle is worth.

Questions and viewings are welcome, please message me via eBay.

The car is sold as seen and the price confirmed when sold will be the price it goes for, no haggling please.

Vehicle collection must be within 48 hours of the auction closing.
