~ Ships Binnacle c1930/40 ~

A full-size genuine ships compensating Binnacle (compass platform). On a slender painted, metal platform with brass fittings and compass dome, by Husan of Great Britain. The compass currently sits on a wooden cradle but the original gimble mounts are provided.

~ Dimensions ~

The binnacle is 50 inches (132 cm) tall by 27 inches (28.5 cm) wide. The diameter is 14 inches (35.5 cm). The diameter of the compass is 9 inches (25 cm).

~ Condition ~

The binnacle is in decent condition and fully functional. It has some wear marks which are to be expected but nothing serious.
