Painting size is 36" X 24" (90cm X 60cm), made with oil on double-primed quality linen canvas and signed by our studio artists. Your painting will come stretched (gallery wrap style) and ready to hang on your wall. We use 1.5" thick wood support bars and securely staple the canvas to the back. The gallery wrap option stretches the canvas around the entire width of the stretcher bars. The canvas is outfitted with a saw tooth bracket making it ready to hang as soon as it arrives. Overall size of the artwork is 36" X 24" X 1.5" (90cm X 60cm X 3.5cm).

All of the oil paints our artists utilize come together on the artist palette. The artist palette is commonly constructed of very thin wood, designed to be held in the artists hand while resting on the arm of the artist. In addition to the wood palette, our artists may also use a flat tray that is conveniently located just below the canvas that is being painted. This tray serves a dual purpose as the palette for the oil paints and also a convenient surface to have all the artist brushes close at hand. The artist palette is the surface where all the oil paints are mixed together to achieve the desired colors needed by the artist to complete each masterpiece.
We only use canvas that is made from high quality, 100% linen fabric. Linen canvas is the preferred choice for our artists and is designed specifically for oil paintings and art reproductions. The fine woven linen canvas is coated with acid-free titanium gesso, which ensures long term life for our museum quality masterpieces. The linen canvas is regarded as superior to cotton canvas and has both excellent fiber strength for stretching and is also woven to rigid specifications to meet the strict requirements of our company.
At ToPortraits-Studio we make custom framing easy and affordable. Our prices are 40-50% less than your local high street framers while maintaining the highest level of quality. We offer two different ways to create your painting as a ready-to-hang work of art; museum wrap and gallery wrap. Both canvas wrap options utilize museum quality stretcher bars providing you with a finished work. The canvas is outfitted with a saw tooth bracket making it ready to hang as soon as it arrives. On both of our wrap choices we stretch the canvas around specialized 1.5" thick wood bars and securely staple the canvas to the back.
