We bought out some storage units unseen, and ended up with a GIGANTIC LOT of these RCA CED Selectavision Videodisc movies. You only see the first part of them in the photo, there are more beyond in the dark area. We counted, as best we could, approximately 1,400 movies. It's a hard thing to figure because some of the movies are two disc sets. But basically there are about two dozen milk crates of them, plus another several cardboard boxes. You can buy them cheap but you have to take them all. You get the milk crates with them so you can move them more easily. We figure less than 20 cents per movie, but just send us your offer. We'll accept a reasonable offer because we don't want to be paying a lot of storage on them. Sorry, there are no players with this lot. The thing is you must pick them up and again you must take them all, no picking and choosing a few here and there. It would be ridiculous to try and ship these as each disc weighs 1.5 lbs! And we're not wanting to go through the trouble of sorting and trying to sell them one movie at a time, so you get them all. There are ALL sorts of Genres, HORROR, SCIENCE FICTION, CLASSICS, ROMANCE, ACTION, COMEDY, SUSPENSE, THRILLERS and more. Probably a good mix of rare with common films, both mono and stereo. There could be some duplicates. Also, don't as us to look for a specific title, we're not selling them one at a time. Now, from what we've learned about these discs, they have to be stored upright, and they were stired that way. They were also stored in a climate controlled unit when we got them. None were sitting flat on their sides in a stack. Also, there are some that are still sealed, not a lot, and most are used. Many look like they were purchased new and played. There are some that look like former rentals, but overall most of them look to be in good shape. We figure it will take at least two pickup trucks, or a pickup with trailer, or one of those mid-sized U-Haul type of trucks. The videodiscs are located in the town of Wildomar right between Los Angeles and San Diego off of the 15 freeway, just north of the Temecula/Murrieta area. It's 70 miles north of San Diego and 70 miles southeast of Los Angeles. We'll let you have at least two weeks to get them, but if you need a couple of weeks more time, that can be arranged, you just have to help out a bit with storage costs, not all of it but a portion. |
