Older Hohner HG-09 Acoustic Guitar Made in Japan NO RESERVE

SCROLL DOWN FOR PHOTOS

Up for bids is another good quality Japanese acoustic guitar. This is a Hohner HG-09, and I guess it's from the 1970's or maybe the early 80's. It's a full size dreadnaught model with a pretty sunburst spruce top. The back and sides appear to be mahogany and the body and neck are bound in white. I believe it to be all original and it's in nice used condition. There are the expected small marks and impressions from normal use, but there are no cracks, repairs or problems. The photos should give you a good idea of the condition so be sure to take a look. The top is nice and flat and the bridge is firmly attached with no gap. The neck is straight with good frets and comfortable action. There is an adjustable saddle so you can easily set the action to your liking, too. There are a few finish chips around the headstock, and the clear laquer around the Hohner logo is a little bit worn. The guitar plays and sounds fine with decent volume and good tone. These old Japanese flat tops are good guitars for the money, and they make great travel or camping instruments (leave your valuable Gibsons and Martins safe at home). It comes with the chipboard case you see in the photos. It's a slightly snug fit but still does the job. Best of all, I'm offering it with NO RESERVE.

U.S. shipping and insurance will be $35 (more to Alaska and Hawaii).

CANADIAN SHIPPING: International Priority Mail postage and insurance to Canada will be $55.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International bids are welcome, but please email for a shipping quote before bidding as shipping is not available to all countries due to size limits on U.S. International Priority Mail.
