This is a lovely old antique 19th Century china teapot with a bright imari colour palette pattern.  This plate is unmarked so I dont know the maker - I would think this is English and would expect it to be by a leading maker such as Crown Derby, Davenport?  The teapot is approx 15cm tall with the lid on and 26cm wide from the end of the spout to the end of the handle.  The Teapot does have some damage - mainly to the spout which does need restoration - the lid has a chip to the inside of the rim but as its on the inside it cant be seen when its on.  There are also some chips to the inside rim of the teapot but again you cant see this when the lid is on so doesnt affect display.  There is one small chip to the outside rim and some rubbing to the gilding but not bad for its age.  I am also selling a small platter / dish in the same pattern.
