Large Antique gesso frame with three separate mirror sections made by Nurre Mirror Plate Co. in 1925 in Bloomington Ind. Each section is marked individually with the exact date they were created. The frame measures.
It appears that at one time parts of the frame were painted as you can still slightly see it on the flowers. Some of the gilt is still evident also. Large center top embellishment approx 16 1/2" wide. Corners are also embellished. Every other part of the frame is textured of detailed in some way. Please view all the pictures for details on the condition. Parts of it are in nice condition but other parts of the frame show age and wear and have pieces of the gesso that have fallen off The most noticeable sections are on the left side. Pictures of these are provided. Approx 54 1/4" wide x 15 1/4" tall...it is 18 1/2" tall in the center with the center embellishment. The center mirror measures 25 14" x 11 1/2" tall. Each side mirror is 11 1/2" tall x 11 1/4" wide. The side mirrors are etched into 4 equal squares. Overall the mirror portion is in good condition. The mirror on the right side has two spots where the paint on the back to create the mirror is scratched off. The mirror is NOT cracked. The most obvious mark can be seen in the 5th picture. It is approx 1/2 to 3/4" tall. The mirror has two round hooks attached to aid in wall hanging. Please let me know if you have any questions.
