This is an unpunched, unplayed and complete copy of The Siege of Port Arthur by Strife Games Company of Chicago, Illinois.  The copyright of this game is 1975.  John David Truty and Roger D. Hotz designed this game that is a two-player grand tactical level simulation of the ground battle around Port Arthur between the attacking Japanese forces and the defending Russian forces in 1905.  Game parts are one 22 inch by 17 inch two color game map, a sheet of 255 die-cut counters of which 67 are blanks, and a 12-page game rules and charts booklet.  This copy also has a single 8.5 inch by 11 inch game errata sheet included.  The game is packaged in a return addressed manila envelope from Strife Games Company as issued by them.  This is a typical amateur production quality game from a small wargame company of the 1970s.  The game is long out of production and a good collectible for a wargame library.
