and is blatantly misleading you! Acoustic foam is primarily
intended to make your room sound better by absorbing errant, reflective sound
waves. To minimize sound transmission, you use construction
type products and not acoustic foam!!! An additional layer of drywall will be
much more effective to reduce sound transmission than any foams less than 8 to
