You are now looking at a DANSETTE POPULAR MK 3 twin valved amplifier record player in superb condition. This was one of the smallest record players of the 1960s that DANSETTE made, and will play all size records at 16/33/45/78 speeds, and to find one in this condition makes it a very collectable, and sought after DANSETTE record player. As can be seen from the pictures the cabinet is finished in BLACK with RED inner lid, a WHITE patterned front loudspeaker panel, topped with chrome trim, on which are mounted the record player controls for Volume On/Off, and Tone, front mounted DANSETTE logo, wood look lid front trim, white carry handle, and chrome cabinet fittings. The record player deck is a quality "BSR" unit in pale grey and black, operating at 16/33/45/78 speeds. Controls are provided for, On/Off Volume and Tone. The control knobs are in black with a chrome trim centre, and are in perfect condition. Details of the BSR stylus replacement code and replacement procedure, will also be supplied with this record player. This superb "DANSETTE POPULAR MK3" record player is in perfect working order, having just been fully serviced and restored by a qualified DANSETTE service engineer, and has clear and undistorted sound quality. The top quality BSR single record deck will play 7" 10" and 12" inch records, and has speed selection for 16/33/45 and 78 rpm, all working perfectly, and smoothly. The professional work/job sheet on this record player states that the record player cabinet has been fully cleaned inside and out, BSR record deck cleaned and and re-lubricated, TWIN VALVE amplifier fully serviced, volume and tone controls cleaned, for noise free adjustment, a correct output BSR cartridge with new turnover twin tip stylus fitted, and a new earthed mains lead and correctly fused mains plug fitted. Following this full and extensive correct service, the record player has been fully tested for performance and sound quality, passing all tests perfectly. The cabinet is in superb condition, as is the record deck, and original chrome cabinet fittings, all showing very little signs of use, after over forty years life from new.
