Raspberry Pi Power Over Ethernet (PoE) Adapter The Xtronix ‘Power Over Ethernet’ (PoE) adapter is designed to be plugged directly on to a Raspberry Pi printed circuit board and to supply +5 Volts at up to 1 Amp to the Raspberry Pi. The adapter conforms to the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard and is intended to be powered by an IEEE 802.3af compatible Injector where power is supplied over the Ethernet Cable. This allows a Raspberry Pi printed circuit board to be powered via the Ethernet cable at up to 90 metres from a compatible PoE injector. A 4 pin connector on the adapter PCB allows the user to connect
a suitable console cable and a 26 Way connector allows the user to connect to
the Raspberry Pi GPIO connector. A metal pillar and M3 screws allow the PCB to
be fixed to the Pi PCB (Later Raspberry Pi PCBs only - earlier Pi PCBs did not have suitable fixing holes). Specifications Nominal Voltage
