Type: this tree is believed to be Genoa, although there has not been any DNA testing done to be 100%  positive; we have had quite a few other fig enthusiast give their opinion as such.  Feel free to give your opinion, and if you purchase and decide to DNA test this tree, please let us know your results.

We are a small business with limited funds, but when the funds are available we intend to do testing. 

Advise: if DNA testing is important to you, before purchasing from "anyone"; request that the seller provides DNA results (even then I would be cautious). Because if DNA testing has not been done, no tree can be deemed 100% anything (and a seller can switch trees on you). Without having it tested yourself, you are at the mercy of the seller.

*But if what you want, is a good tasting fig that's tree is capable of grow big, strong, and bearing a lot of fruit; this is your rooted cutting that will provide that for you.
