This is my personal Peavey Valverb in a custom-designed tweed-style cabinet that I've owned for about 10yrs - I'm the second owner. It is in fantastic condition without the corrosion so many Valverbs show these days after 10-20yrs of life. It's not quite mint but is very near - a few scratches is about it. This cabinet option is something Peavey should have offered back in the early 90s when I bought my first Valverb. The smaller 1U high cabs you see quite often with Valverbs do not allow for proper heat dissipation which shortens the life of your Valverb this cab is completely different. It is 2U high, has a vented front panel, and I've removed the top stell cover to further ventilate the tubes (see photo 2). The Valverb is well protected and stays cool.
Note: the cab is not real lacquered tweed like you'd find on a Victoria Reverberato - it is the same tweed print used on the low-end Peavey and Fender amps, thus the low cost.
Note: all photos are of the actual item. All were taken 26 Jul 2014.

This Valverb not only looks good, everything is in perfect operational condition as well. I have outfitted this with a variety of NOS GE and RCA tubes and this has been factored into the price. If you don't buy into the NOS-is-better story, I'll retube with Chinese or Russian and refund $70 to your PayPal account as soon as you notify me after purchase. The metal cover that I mentioned above is included along with all hardware (including rack ears) so you can return the Valverb to its original state if you like.

I have modified the original like-new Peavey footswitch so that blue and green LEDs will light when trem and reverb are engaged. I've used Valverbs since the early 90s (with my Matchless D/C-30) and the lack of LEDs to indicate trem/reverb status always drove me nuts on stage - nothing like engaging your distortion pedal and boosting gain to wail on a lead and have a crashing discombobulated wave of sproingy reverb deafen the audience! Inserting an LED in the reverb circuit is easy but the trem circuit can not power an LED so your 9V power supply needs to be plugged in if you want the green trem LED to light. If none of this appeals to you or you just don't need status indication, I'll swap out the modded pedal with an original like-new Peavey Valverb footswitch.

To reiterate, in the event that someday you may want the Valverb in its original state or actually want to rack-mount it (how 80s!), all parts and hardware (including the original rack ears) are included to return this to its original configuration if desired.

Note: I add an $8 handling fee. This doesn't go to me - I make NO $$ on shipping - it is for insurance. Insurance is not properly calculated in the eBay estimate and I will not ship this item uninsured and without signature receipt confirmation. Any difference between what is paid and the actual final shipping cost will be refunded to your PayPal account. I will eat the cost if it is actually higher than what is paid.
