"In the Mines of Moria" 

"They have a cave troll...."


These are the words spoken, with a look of sacrcastic disbelief, by Boromir, son of Denethor, to the members of the Fellowship of the Ring, in the movie "The Fellowship of the Ring," as they barricaded themselves in Balin's tomb room in the abandoned dwarven city of Dwarrowdelf, in the midst of the mines of Moria, awaiting a vicious attack by Moria Orcs (goblins) with their Cave troll.


Up for auction here is a LOT of two
plastic, poseable action figures:

Moria Orc (goblin)


Description and Condition of these Figures:  

Both figures were produced in China by New Line Productions/Marvel Ent, in 2001.  They are used, but are in great shape.  They are NOT offered here with their original packaging, whatever that was.  What you see in the photos is what you get, nothing more, nothing less.  These are not necessarily the exact figures for the scene depicted above. 

The Cave Troll stands 14" tall and is electronic and poseable.  He has two small "levers" on his back which activates his arms and mouth.  When the lever to his mouth is moved, it opens and his electronics allow him to makes a loud cave-troll-like roar.  He comes with all that you see in the photos, including: a chain around his neck, and two weapons, one in each hand.  He has no spear. 

The Moria Orc (also known as a "goblin") stands 5 1/2" tall and is also poseable.  He does not have any device to move his arms, but they can be positioned.  He comes with all that you see in the photos, including: a sword, a shield, and a helmet.   

The photos here show what the figures in this auction looks like and what condition they are in.  
These are being sold "as is" so please study the photos and ask me any questions you may have before bidding.  


Shipping:     I do ship overseas!!

I pledge to you, the buyer, the following services:  

1.  For US and International buyers:  I will do my best to save you as much
         as I can in shipping fees by combining shipment costs on multiple items
         as economically as possible.
2.  I will charge no hadling fees, except possibly for insurance to
         domestic addresses, and signature confirmation to international addresses, 
         if the value of all the items in the shipment is over $50.00.
3.  I will charge you only what I will pay for shipping. 
4.  If the value of the winnings in one parcel is over $50.00 USD, and your address
         is in the USA, I may charge you for insurance.  This will amount to only one
         to five dollars more, depending on the total value of the shipment.  
         If the value of the parcel is over $50.00 and your address is not in the USA, I
         reserve the right to send the shipment via "Registered Mail" to ensure
         it gets to you.  Signature confirmation would be about $13.00 USD more.  
5.  If for any reason, I do not get it right and overcharge you for shipping, or insurance, etc., 
         I will refund your pay pal account for every penny of the overage.   
                   (Honest!  When you are as poor as I am, integrity is all you have left, and I exercise mine often!)

Shipping details for US buyers:  These figures will be carefully packed and shipped via USPS Priority Mail, and should arrive at your house within three business days.  Priority shipments are insured for $50.00 and also come with a tracking number, so the package will not be misplaced by Uncle Sam.  The cost of shipping will depend on where you live.  You can use E-Bay's "Price Calculator" to get a good idea of what the cost will be, but please be aware that sometimes this device does not get the postage exactly correct.     
Please understnd that I work a 60 hour week, and Fridays and Saturdays are usually the only days I am free to ship.  That is why I have a five business day "handling" period, before I ship.  If your payment to me clears by Thursday evening, your winnings will be shipped out to you that weekend.     

Shipping details for International Buyers:  These figures will be carefully packed and shipped via USPS First Class Mail International.  If the value of the items in your package is over $50.00, I reserve the right to ship via USPS Registered Mail.  That means your package is guaranteed by the Postal system to get to your doorstep, and will require your signature.  This may cost you some $13 USD more, but it is the only way I can guarantee your shipment gets to you safely.  At the end of the auction, please wait for my invoice, before you pay.  The cost of shipping will vary, depending on where you live.  You can use E-Bay's "Price Calculator" to get a good idea of what the costs will be to your country, before you bid.      

Please note that you will have to pay customs fees once the package gets to your country.   You would do well to find out what these are before you bid.  I must mark each item you win as "merchandise" on the customs form.  Please do not ask me to mark it as a "gift."  That would be comitting customs fraud, and I would not want any buyer to get into trouble for doing so.  


Payments:

I accept only Pay Pal.  Please pay me within one day of the receipt of an invoice.  If you are bidding on multiple items, please let me know, and I will wait, but only until Thursday PM of each week.  After each Thursday PM I have to package and ship what you have won, regardless of what you may still be bidding on.  I do this so that I will not the risk of getting your particular auction mixed up with another.  

For domestic and international addresses, I will send you an invoice. If you pay me prior to receiving my invoice, I may have to charge you additional fees for insurance costs, especially if you have won multiple items.  So, please wait for my invoice.  If for any reason you cannot pay me for what you have won by Thursday PM in a given week, please contact me.  You will find me very understanding.  If I do not hear from you, and do not receive your payment within that time frame, I reserve the right to offer whatever kits you have won as "second chance offers" to another bidder, or re-list them.
