Early 1977 Apple-1 computer 
•  Owned by the original owner and his family for over 39 years. Presumed to have been purchased in May 1977, based on a date written on the Cassette Interface Board manual.  
•  Includes original and extremely rare accessory Apple-1 Cassette board 
•  Board has been physically modified - traces have been cut and jumper wires run up to the breadboard area.
•  Solder mask is bubbling/peeling on the back of the PCB
•  Apple I Owners manual included, has notes and coffee stains throughout

Original Apple-1 motherboard, labeled "Apple Computer 1 Palo Alto. Ca. Copyright 1976" with four rows A-D, and columns 1-18, original Apple-1 cassette interface board, original Apple I manual, original Preliminary Apple BASIC User's Manual,    

Provenance 
•  Acquired new in 1977 (based on the date written on the Apple Cassette Interface Manual) by the seller's family member. It has been in possession by the family for it's entirety. 
•  Modifications were performed on the board by the original owner (presumably for additional memory), involving cutting traces and running wires. See pictures for up-close detail. 

Terms 
The terms of payment are that 20% must be received by the seller within 72 hours of the close of the auction. The balance must be paid within one week of the close of the auction via escrow.com. Seller will split the escrow fee with the buyer.

Shipping  
The successful bidder is welcome to come to Dayton, Ohio to pick up the computer or the computer can be hand delivered by the seller for additional cost. Due to the value, seller would prefer not to ship using common carriers.
