A circa 1922 Ken-Wel sewn web baseball glove. The rich reddish-brown leather is still very supple and the darker brown inner lining is soft and supple for a nice on hand feel. No rips or tears on the inside or outside leather. The rolled leather piping is all intact. This glove is a "NeveRip" model and that is lightly stamped in the pocket along with a patent date of Sept. 1922. The back of the glove features the "NeveRip" patent with the unique construction of the finger stalls. The Ken-Wel cloth patch is in stellar condition and is the earliest version Ken-Wel designed. The logo button is intact and nicely stamped. The lacing seems original to the glove. Check the photos for details. The glove is large for its day and measures 10"H X 10"W.
