Tutankhamon Mask was made of gold, lapis lazuli, carnelian, quartz, obsidian, turquoise and coloured glass . The mask height 54 cm (21 in), width 39.3 cm (16 in). This marvelous, life-size mask, of excellent workmanship, protected the head of the mummy of tankhamon. It is one of the breathtaking treasures, of Tutankhamun’s tomb, which has exerted a unique hold on the popular imagination ever since its discovery in 1922. It remains the greatest tomb-find ever made.
